Passionately conceived in 2021, the Desert Center for Conscious Evolution was established in Arizona offering traditional psychotherapy approaches in conjunction with legal, safe, and effective psycho-integrative protocols using Cannabis Sativa and Ketamine, coordinating with the client’s supervising medical provider. Recent research indicates that psychedelic assisted therapy is contributing unique approaches and methods to treat PTSD and trauma-related disorders, depression, anxiety, OCD, alcohol and substance use disorders, and support personal and spiritual growth and transformation.
The Desert Center for Conscious Evolution
The Desert Center for Conscious Evolution offers a safe, serene, and supportive milieu for individuals seeking to consciously evolve. The ultimate healer is consciousness- psychedelic medicines and mindfulness practices allow for expanded non-ordinary states of consciousness to emerge; increased awareness helps to direct and focus intentionality into conscious decision making and integration supports the ability to utilize the gifts of expanded consciousness in our daily lives.
Chanda Gonzales, MS LPC NCC
For over a decade, I have been supporting and empowering clients to overcome barriers to change, recover from limiting conditions, create a vision for an ideal life, and consciously evolve, making their vision a reality. I graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Masters of Professional Counseling and Masters of Addiction Counseling. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in addition to being a Nationally Certified Counselor. I am trained in a number of modalities including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Thought Field Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and in Cannabis Assisted Psychedelic Therapy (medicinalmindfulness.org) and in Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (resiliencetucson.com).
My own personal journey of healing, growth, and evolution has resulted in an abundance of prosperous encounters and synchronicities that have influenced and guided my beliefs and ethics, sense of purpose and meaning, and my intrinsic spiritual mission. This commitment to deep inner work traversed into my initiation with exploring consciousness, mindfulness, and exploring my shadow so that I may live fully in the light and the darkness. The resulting radical breakthroughs, transformation, and sense of congruence imparted a passion and dedication devoted to sharing this healing potentiality with others called to the path.
In addition to therapy interventions, I incorporate creative methods of exploring the subconscious including tarot, I Ching, the Enneagram, journaling, art and expressive practices, meditation, breath work, and other alternative approaches into a holistic and integrative paradigm. My philosophy is trauma-informed, and I align with harm-reduction principles and the Highly Sensitive Person Paradigm, as well as attachment theory. I am a LGBTQIA+ and diversity affirming provider, intentionally creating a Safe Space with acceptance and free of judgment, rigid societal constructs, and cultural assumptions.
