FAQs

Do you provide telehealth (video) services?

I am able to provide HIPAA complaint telehealth counseling for intakes, psychotherapy, integration, and harm education. In certain cases, I may be able to provide Cannabis Assisted Psychedelic Therapy by telehealth. Ketamine medicine sessions are always in person.

Will you facilitate other types of psychedelic sessions (MDMA, psilocybin, DMT)?

Psychedelic medicines (besides cannabis) are illegal to buy, sell, or possess. I do not and cannot advise, encourage, or recommend that you engage in any illegal behavior. I also do not provide resources for obtaining illegal substances or illegal/underground psychedelic psychotherapy.

Can you give me recommendations about other psychedelics that I can take on my own?

As a psychotherapist, I am not licensed to practice medicine. I am not ethically or legally able to suggest, recommend, encourage, or advise you to take any substance, legal or not.

What is required to participate in Cannabis Assisted Psychedelic Therapy?

A medical marijuana card with a prescriber recommendation is required for participating in Cannabis Assisted Psychedelic Therapy. In Arizona, the only mental health condition that qualifies for a medical marijuana card is PTSD. Please note that Cannabis Assisted Psychedelic Therapy is not psychotherapy.

Do you provide the cannabis for CAPT?

I do not provide or sell cannabis for any aspect of the program, and I am not a retailer, supplier, reseller, distributor, agent, representative or subcontractor of any cannabis supplier or retailer. I fully comply with all local and Arizona State cannabis laws, and all federal regulations.

Is anyone eligible for psychedelic therapy?

Unfortunately, no. I provide only legal, safe, ethical, and professional therapy services operating from a harm reduction approach. As a psychedelic harm reduction program I do not support the misuse or abuse of cannabis, ketamine, any other drug, or psychedelic medicine. Nor do I believe that cannabis or psychedelic medicine exploration, even within the confines of applicable laws, is appropriate or beneficial for everyone. I am a conditional advocate for intentional, sacred and non-habitual cannabis use and legal psychedelic practices.
